If you are not vegetetarien you may like this taste. this is very popular appetizer. the simple recipe:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
1/2 lb liver (membrane removed)
1/2 teaspoon pepper, and other spices you like
First saute onion in olive oil over medium heat and when a onions begin to brown, continue to saute until onions become soft. Then cut liver into thin strips and drop to onions. Cook on medium high heat for about 1 1/2-2 minutes each side, until done. Serve immediately as an appetizer or with rice.
