Egg salad recipes: turkish salad recipes and cuisines.. Egg salad is one of my favorite salad. It's appeptizer but you can assume it as meal, when you hungry.. very delicious and light salad.

5 hard boiled eggs
Chopped fresh mint
Chopped parsley
2 small julienne cut onions
3-4 tbsp olive oil
Salt and Pepper
Sumac and cumin

Preparation: firslt cut each egg lenghtwise first then slice them all. later combine eggs, chopped parsley and fresh mint. afterthat in another bowl, mix julienne cut onions, salt, pepper, cumin, and sumac very well. Add onion mixture to egg salad. Drizzle olive oil on top of salad and serve.

cigkofte is very tradational dishe from Turkey, especially area near Urfa and Adiyaman, Very good and very delicious meal. High vegetable sponge fiber and this is good for your large intestine and healty. Recipes below :
3 big onions finely chopped
2 cups smallest bulgur
2 tb. pepper paste
1 cup isot pepper
1 tb. salt
1 bunch of parsley finely chopped
2 tbsp oil
200 gr. walnut

Firstl put chopped onions, pepper paste, oil, walnut and Bulgur in a deep and wide open dish. Knead it for about 1.5 hours. Second keep kneading to make the Bulgur soft. Then get some piece and give it a shape you see in the picture. The crashed red pepper that we use in makes raw beef cook. Especially, when you knead it almost for 2 hours, it is east to eat.

Baklava is very tradational turkish recipes Pastries with nuts and syrup dessert. Very delicious and well known all over the world. Especially Gazi Antep city in Turkey, is the souce of this delicious turkish sweet. Very good baklava producer companies and baker shops can be found in this

1 lb. filo leaves (about 24 sheets) or phyllo pastry
16 tbsp. butter, melted
2-1/2 cups walnuts or almonds, chopped

for syrup:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Directions: first brush a 9 x 12 inch dish with melted butter. Second fold a sheet of filo in half and carefully lay in the pan. Third brush with melted butter then repeat until there are 6 layers of filo. Sprinkle 1/3 of the nuts on the last layer. Add 6 more filo leaves, brushing each one with melted butter. Add 1/3 more nuts. Repeat this procedure until all ingredients are used ending with a pastry layer. Brush the top layer with butter and cut into diamond shapes 2 inches wide. Bake in a preheated 350 F. oven for 30 minutes. Reduce the heat to 300 and continue baking for 30 minutes longer.

syrup: firstly add the sugar to the water. secondly add lemon juice and boil the syrup for 5 minutes. Pour over the warm pastry and let cool before serving.
